Definitely agree with you, because it would take a long time to 'graduate'.

However, I like the idea, but maybe a player could leave the league at the moment he or she thinks it is time to start competing in the regular competitions.

For example:
A player has to start in the beginnersleague and has to play there for one full season.
After this year the player has the option to 'graduate' and play in the regular leagues or stay in the league for one more season before going to a regular competition.

While I like the idea it will be hard to implement due to the differing amounts of money new teams get due to their league's income. For example a new team starting in Div II will earn more than new one starting in Div IV.

I think the only way for new teams to play at a competitive level is creating a bubble for them until they are strong enough to survive when that bubble bursts.

They already have that in the form of a scrimmage. I think they need to be competing for something meaningful but actually have the chance of winning it. The only way to get this is against users that are around the same level as they are as playing against bots is not good for anyone.
