I have exactly the same question (problem?) as you.

Last year I had 5696 (after winning the championship of season 3 and season2)
This year I won both the championship and the tournament and the number dropped to 4906!!

Are the BB trying to limit the number of ticket holders for everyone or is there something else?

PS: I know that my number is still very high but I can't see the logic behind it (won both trophies and the number dropped, a bit weird)

there was a lot being said about how we didnt have prizes for champions because it woudl be too much, it would unbalance the economy, etc. And I was ok with it up to a certain point, because I saw teams being champions and having over 5k ticket holders.

But now if this has been changed (or whatever happened), and if a 2 time champion will have the same ticket holders as other teams, than the champion is not winning anything for his title. Just the little trophy.

Edit: I hope it was just a small bug :D

it was the same for me, i had ~3800 last season, won the top league, and im up to 3945. IIRC, JuicePats (NBBA champ season 3) was in the high 4k's last season, same as Demon Hoosiers (NBBA champ season 2).

IMO, the bump the top team got was too much. I'm fine with a slight gain, assuming that the rest of the teams that got a huge gain in prior season were brought back down to lower levels.

Season ticket holders are a HUGE aspect to BB, and I'd be nice if the system was more transparent.

Absolutely!

PS: and to add that at least for me the decrease cannot be due to the PR Manager because last year I had a level 8 one and this year a level 10 one.

I defended my championship title and season ticket holders went down by 20%. That just seems very unrealistic to me. It was not what I had expected. I had not counted on a dramatic change but probably as slight increase, but a huge drop? No.

I dropped from 6883 to 5515 after winning my league for the 4th year straight - although I did not win the cup. Apparently my fans were very upset.

i only jumped from 2791 - 3446 after 2nd league title... and competitor went from 2071 - 3099 with no trophies this season..

not another formula that is impossible to calculate with no apparent reason to its volatility?

Sympathies if winning a 4th title leads to losing fans... surely a successful franchise would be able to continuously grow? If supporters are that fickle then sorry but you cant call them a supporter....

I think it's clear now that either there was a bug on this update or the BB's have changed something. Let's see if one of them give us some insight on what happened.

I am the winner of the Hong Kong Cup.
I had made a 22 consecutive wins in the league game (Div 2).
I had entered the final round of the playoff.
I am also using a lv10 PR.

There has a lot of reasons to support me to get more ticket holders than the others, but i don't know why i just got 1486 ticket holders.

By comparing with the others, they almost get the same, whatever they get the last place in the league.
