And now I see that my merchandising has dropped too, despite I wont against my rival last Saturday. Does this make sense at all??

i know its already a couple years later after your question but mayby i have an answer on your question
im busy with collect and recording data to understand the BB game way better

i will copy paste below the info i found and something you cant see what possibly went down your attendance:
PR manager with speciality National Appeal = when playing away, it reduces your opponent home court advantage.

home court advantage has nothing to do with attendance. it is related to team performance. teams perform better when playing home. PR managers can reduce the advantage of playing home, reducing the performance of your opponent.
