there is also at times that

the shot clock is already at 0 but the play continues for a few seconds and wow a shot was still made :D

There's a fairly common well-known case where that happens, after a foul on the floor. The game engine sets the shot clock to 24, but the viewer sets it to 14.

Yeah, the reset after a foul happens quite often.

But in this case there was no foul, nothing that should trigger an additional 10 secs on the shotclock.
