I wouldn't play a zone defense, rather a man on man and your best defender on him.
Simply because the teams ratings on offense are pretty balanced, so they're as good at inside as at outstide scoring.
The second reason is, that this Mcgowan guy isn't that much of a 3 point shooter (from his 97 shot attempts only 18 were 3 pointers), so that excludes a 3-2 zone. Altough I didn't watch the games (to see where he shoots from) he doesn't seem to be a huge inside scorer either, because he's listed as a PG.
Bottom line, if you're really afraid of him, i'd put your best defender, with outside and inside defense on him. Look at Mcgowans recent games, and you'll see that, altough he is listed as a point guard, he plays the Small Forward position. So remember to put the defender on to the SF position.
