Ok, but there's one thing to consider.

There should be a soft cap between 18y and 19y old. Because the older is suposed to have trained a year longer.

Something like the max value of all skills: e.g 18 y = 50 ; and 19y = 55.

Who said ready player..? but think about that, the game advanced all the time.. and the draft level going nowhere.
DIV I.1 teams can't allow them to train and play with the current level of the rookies.. maybe just if it's very talented player with lvl7 in all the major skills with hall of famer+ potential and even then it's not so certain(and very few players drawn with this level)

you don't think that it's reasonable to improve the draft level every 2-3 seasons ? and it's not reasonable that 19 years old player[good one] should be more "prepared" than 18 years old?
and he is right, in the current system it's not worthwhile to select 19 years old player which lost one season of train and in the same level with the 18 years old .
and there are very little differences of improving at 18-19 age .

But it would make some 19y desirable. Now, it`s pretty hard to find usefulness in 19y because of that.

But in RL, 1 year means 1 year of training - hence a usually better player. A normal season training in BB is able to make around 12 pops, and thats great.

The BB could make 19y old averagely better than 18y by 6-7 points.

Please give me 3 19yo potential 6+ C trainees with 7 at ID, IS and RB. In 3 seasons of training I can sell them for 3-4m a piece at the age of 21/22. That's quite a profitable draft, 1m per draftee per season.

we talking in generality, takes the best 18y and the best 19y player, they are in the same level. do you find it logical..?

there is no doubt that required some chagnes in this issue.. and not just between 18y-19y, whole draft system, after six seasons we must taking one step ahead with the rookies level .

I honestly prefer a 18y old C with average IS, ID, REB than a respectable IS ID REB thats 19y, because in one season I can make the 18y at least strong in all 3.

All I`m saying is to build up the 19y a little bit, because its the logical thing to do. They are supposed to have "spent a year longer in college", thus having a longer training.

Or they just weren't ready to take the step to the pro's at 18, which forced them to stay another year in college to reach minimum requirements...

Making the trainees better every two seasons isn't a solution to any problem. Just train your players adequate and your team will develop sufficiently.
