I opted to win game 2 of the finals to avoid this type of nonsense.

Next season I suppose I should just throw game 2 and collect the $400k from game 3.

No way I will lose that much even if i only sell 25% of my seats on week one & two of the following season.

Be honest to yourself - would you rather see a dramatic play off game or just a calm one in regular season? I guess fans are just like us after all, except the luckiest ones of them can throw powerful dunks in a game when you don't have enough players to play.

There is no playoff attendance bonus.

A CT? Really?
Any two will do
Any three for me
Any four will score

So the BBs, who did not put an attendance bonus in, know less than you?

I'm not entirely sure on this subject, but don't the relegation and playoff games count as TV games, and therefore you get the usual TV game attendance bonus?

I had the same thing with my home relegation game, it was the only time I sold out all season.

No matter how exactly it happen s I tend to believe there is significant change between regular season and play off/relegation games.

I can't seem to find a difference at my games.

PO 15k attendance, 1st regular game 14k attendance.

Didn't want to offend you.

Did you look at my attendance? My top three categories sold out, which never happend before! Even the luxury boxes. And I didn't change the prices a bit.

To be honest, I know we discussed this over and over. And I know you asked the BBs.

.... BUT, the evidence is astonishing.

It reminds me of a (very) geeky parable.

A millionaire makes a bet with a mathematician and an engineer. He says that he's got a fair coin (50% probability of head or tail), he flips it 5 times and it comes head all the times. Then he asks the guys what is the probability of getting head again. The mathematician says 50% and (obviously) loses...

The thing is, practice and theory are not the same thing...

We know that the attendance bonus is not meant to be there. But one way or the other everyone is getting boosts during the playoffs.

Perhaps it's just the fact that all matches are big (i.e. you play teams high in the table), but there is something systematic about it.
