If the current game engine cant give a clear advantge for a player with colossal
over a player with respectable then the code stinks(sorry for the word)it should be changed and if this factor is not affective then why putting it anyway? just to say "Hi it's a basketball game so players have a blocking ablility here"? if the BB developers put it here so it should be affective...many factors....so why invest in blocking if it's a minor factor for blocking even the name is far from true why not calling it "A minor factor of shot blocking"?
In conclusion just change the shot blocking so it will be affactive in SHOT BLOCKING!!! pls (:
Or at least give a clear massage about it in the rules...it would have saved me a LOT of mney and wasted trining for nothing.

Ignoring SB training will make the rest of your inside training suffer.

BUT improving it give me NOTHING why improve shot blocking if it don't affact your players SHOT BLOCKING in a way you can see it? in NBA and pther league there are players that can block 6-7 times in a game at avrage and sometimes even pass 10 blocks(vary rare)but in this game that should be realistic my players is one level below the best level and still cant block like my very very low blocking shooting guard for crying out loud

i have to agree.. ive seen a player on the list with shotblocking 19 and not so bad ID and he averaged 0.9 blocks in i think more than 40 minutes per game.. look at the nba.. guys who would be like a 19 block more than 3 per game..
i see the point when you say its not only the shotblocking ability that determines how many shots you block but i dont think thats realistic, it would rather be the other way around.. a good shotblocking ability should increase your inside defense because thats a factor of inside defense..
