The levels have a salary range. This salary is random and does not reflect anything.
The level of the staff members drop over time and their salaries remain fixed. I originally thought that the higher salary might indicate if the staff member was going to drop faster but I was told by the BBs that this is not the case and a higher salary staff member can drop faster than a lower salary one.
