They count towards the standings in your private league. But, your normal league isn't affected in any way by PL games.

Ok, great. Thanks. As for the answer to the OP's question, I don't think you can play an injured player in any game whether it be a PL or SC...That's what I think, I can be wrong.

I realy don't know about this.
I had an injured player selected for the all-star game, and he played as if he wasn't injured there.

Since PL is completely separated from all the rest, it might be possible.
Normally injured players show up in red if you want to give your orders, if he is not in red when you put your orders for a PL he probably can play as if he was not injured, if he is in red, he probably can't...
