The Help forum is always bogged with the same questions such as "does height affect game performance" or "can I cancel bids" or "how does enthusiasm work." Maybe a clearer Rules page wording could clear up these often posted threads?

I suspect a bunch of those players didn't even search in the rules-page...

Like we say in dutch: "Wat baten kaars en bril, als den uil niet ziene wil."
(= candle and glasses won't help if the owl doesn't want to see)

Yes, that's exactly the problem most of the time. Many users would rather have hundreds of people read their same-old-newbie-question, and a few answer it, rather than spending a couple of minutes to read and answer it themselves.

Milestone, if you do have a specific suggestion about the rules, please post it. They're definitely not perfect.

Intergrating the newbie READ HERE thread into the rules would be a start. Most people don't check the forums but they do check the rules. Height threads come up very often and the rules ought to be more explicit in how it works. Also I understand the developers want the players to find their own way in playing style by using ambigous sentences but those vague paragraphs could be made alot easier to understand and concrete. Simplifying some parts into short phrases and bullets like in the help threads would help understanding.

I would like if you would write couple paragraphs of rules so maybe we would give you a chance to rewrite them all if all GMs, EGMs and BBs would agree with that.

There is already a project in place to rewrite the rules.

Any three for me

It's not going to hurt if you let him try. If you don't like it, you don't have to keep it!
