The transfer market will not close for the playoffs.

However players purchased after a certain deadline will not be eligible for use in the playoffs. I don't think that BB has announced when the deadline will be.

My guess is that it will be closer to playoffs (1 or 2 weeks)


Where was that stated...is it in the rules now?

It's in part 2 of the big changes announcement.

9) We will impose a transfer deadline shortly before the playoffs. Teams will still be allowed to buy and sell players as much as they would like, but these players will be ineligible to play during the playoffs.
