Lawson gets Training, too. => So the situation for the senior team is not that bad; but of course we shouldn't lose players.
What we need for the NT are players..
PG/SG with at least salary 20k
SF-C with at least salary 50k
(Of course, salary is not all, but it's a good indicator)
-- By the way: Look at the transfer list, there is a Youngstar with high potential for just 500k--

We will unlikely ever be good enough. Poor stats for his age.
I think it's a school-boy error (and one which a clever manager can take advantage of in the TM) to concentrate on potential.
You only need potential over PA 7 if you want to make a beast, who in turn will have unmanageble salery and wont be benefital to the club. Obviously that's still good for the NT but I dont think anyone wants to be a farm team right?
Players of star 5 potential have the potential to be very effective on the national team if trained correctly. I my option it's all about multi-skilled players, they really do perfrom higher than thier ratings/salery suggests.

You're right... salary and potential is not everything... but if you want to have a real real good player, than you need more than potential 5. Just look at the rosters of good NTs.
The posted player -of course- allready is old; but I think if there is a managers, who wants to train him, it isn't the right way to say:
Poor stats for his age.
You wont motivate managers for training. Just look at the transfer history of this player, so you'll see that he's in the new team just for some weeks.

I get what you're saying Bock but it would be better for them to spend time training (and less money buying) a younger player without as high a salery nessessarily. Although, you never know, with 1 position training, he could contribute.
I honeslty think that an all prolific/sensational player is possible with star potential - certainly a good enough guard for the scottish NT.
Apologies if i offended anyone ;-)

I don't know if you've seen that this guy (http://www.buzzerbeater.com/player/9678531/overview.aspx) is on the transfer list. Personally I think that 3 million are a little bit too much for him, but anyway, I think it's worth keeping an eye on him and which team he's headed for. I guess, if he's sold, one should contact the new team manager if he's planning on training him further so that he can contribute to the NT in the future ...
