SF

The weakness(es) of whoever you lineup there will limit your tactical options. Well rounded, versatile SF's are the rarest players in BB. Most teams have to decide between being predictable with a SF that's very good attacking one way or being unpredictable with a couple decent SF options. Same situation on def.

I think all positions are nearly equally important, but I'd have to say PG. It's really hard to win without a great, great point guard.

SF for me is the most important position. Regardless how you play the SF is involved the same amount (Medium) where's Guards & Front Court players have varying levels of involvment pending on what Offense you run. Also a well rounded 3 can cause major mismatch issues for other teams on Offense, especially for teams that run a 2 or a 4 there if they are going Outside or In.
SF's that are well rounded, 13\14's overall go for around $3 to$4 mill a piece even though there salary could be as low as $45k p\w.
