and also because a better trainer is required even though each level of trainer varies only a little, this small amount of training still matters

Yes,it would,but he could run better outsie oreiented offenses,have a man to shoot hte ball,and make WAY more merch training him to his full potential. Even in 4-5 seasons he could sell him,and buy moreplayers. I see training as 'a money making machine" with P. Allstar+ players. Theres no reason for him to sell him now,he could train for U21,which will result in him only having a 10-30,or even 40k salary.

His salary would be sky high.

It would take years for his salary to get so high that he cannot afford him, and by then, if he's not moved up in divisions and making a lot of money, something is wrong. I've played only one full season and two partial seasons, and I'm able to afford a $50K salary player and still making $100K profit each week (though I suspect that will go down to about $70K soon).

And even in D5, I was able to afford a lvl 4 trainer, so no reason this team can't afford one right now, too.
