Now things are really heating up with just 64 teams left.
10 x ABBL
2 x II.1
3 x II.2
5 x II.3
7 x II.4
4 x III.1
2 x III.2
2 x III.3
0 x III.4
3 x III.5
4 x III.6
2 x III.7
2 x III.8
1 x III.9
2 x III.10
0 x III.11
4 x III.12 (all Big 8)
3 x III.13
1 x III.14
0 x III.15

So going by this the balance has shifted and II.4 is the toughest (or luckiest) division II and III.1, III.6 and III.12 are as usual the toughest (or luckiest) division IIIs.
Big Games of Round Five
Actually considering it is round five it is surprising to see how many games aren't big matchups. First seven games on the list don't excite me but then we have a couple of interesting ones.
CCCPBA (Aust. Div.) v Gisborne Gladiators our own Bainsy has to take on a medium strength division II team. He is looking for promotion so how much is he willing to put into this one?
branny v The Winnerz RazorSharp has had a magical season so far but Branny is a division III team with a division II roster, will the dream turn to a nightmare?
Billy Hoyles Boys v Henley Beach Hawks poor BHB have probably had the toughest run in the cup so far and draw yet another decent team. On paper BHB look much better but in division II.4 HBH have something of a reputation as giant killers.
Aussie Pride v Coin Collectors Phoebe is probably now the top ranked female in Australia but draws my old master in what will be a very tough ask. I hope he thorws his league game to concentrate on this. (Yes it is against me.)
JW City Bulls v Chelsea Seagulls the second highest rating matchup of the round (33 v 6) JW will note I threw my first game this week so I will have all the stars ready for this one and JW will need to bring something special to Bonbeach Arena.
Viral Infections v Geelong Vipers two super intense managers go head to head and with Naker anything can happen, the only thing I can guarantee is it will involve old players.
Whitebeard v TeamAkuma the top rated game of the round (1 v 27) will probably spell the end of Akuma's cup run although with HCA and more flexibility to CT he will no doubt be looking carefully at WBs minutes this week.
Lots more exciting games as well cup fans but there are a few to watch out for as things start to heat up. See you next Thursday.
