On the other note, does anyone know when we should expect our new players to get to our team? (when is draft taking place?)

Off-season processing normally happens after NT games, and there's at least the Americas Championship final starting at 6:30 (server time), so I wouldn't expect it to start for about another 8 hours.

Assuming venture is correct with the deadline being published as the 26th:

Isn´t it ridiculous everyone just says: "Yeah, this game is so bugged, you have to expect that."
I would expect those things to work properly, or at least that things get fixed fast, or there´s an official statement on that issue.

That´s all I want to emphasize on: a guy get´s f..... by a bug, and afterwards he´s just being told: "Your fault!" Sorry, that bores me.

Draft has always been finished before all national team games have been finished. It usually are finished by now. I think that it is only the update of salaries that are delayed until national team games have finished.

I agree. There are many bugs but I think deadline bug is not the priority. Fixing the boxscore should the priority. Or balancing tactics. The game is flawed as it is. It's not perfect but at least users shouldn't create more problems like setting the list in the last minute. You know what I mean.

I do agree that it's not a good idea to wait so long, cutting it that close, but seeing as this is an automated electronic system, if it did shut him out early then he has a point and a right to feel disgruntled. I'd be pissed if a bug made me miss out on setting the lineup for a game or changing my training, let alone waste a full season's (perhaps more?) investment in draft points and scouting.

I like this game as much as anybody and I don't mind that the server is sometimes strained and falls behind with processing transfers and boxscores, seeing as those things are inconsequential, but the excuses people are coming up with in this case are ridiculous:
People shouldn't "create problems like these" by setting the list at the last minute? You mean by... sticking to the correct time frames? The guy was apparently at least 4 hours early anyway.
The wording is actually BEFORE the 26th? What's the point of a deadline then? Technically you could say before the year 3000, then the deadline could come randomly at any point in the season and it would still be correct! Get real.

That's the only point that needs to be made really. There's no need for the rest of the rationalizations people are coming up with, is what I was trying to say.

Yes. You won't have problems that way. And like last season neither will other users. As I said, draft was lagging because some people didn't set the list in time whatever the reason (being senile or deadline bug). :)

Exactly. Deadlines are flexible. As I said, I think Latvia had a display bug because everywhere else the deadline was 25.11. if I'm not wrong.

Not really randomly. Deadlines are around specific dates/hours etc. It's just that they can move before or after the time specified. I think you too agree on this.

And you don't need that "Get real" part.
