Winners BC officially withdraw from this season's playoffs.

After my loss to the Spider team, I realized that I should not waste my funds on being competitive this season. I don't have a chance.

Because of this, I am selling all KEY members of my team. Jorge Timon has already been sold and that has increased my funds by almost a million. I am still selling Ruperto Espino, Elran Yefet, Jesus Fontrubia, Fabien David. All 4 can help teams win in the playoffs. But they WILL all be sold this season.

This pretty much clears the way for Spider Team to go to the finals while playing TIE. In my opinion, they are the favourites to win the playoffs because of this. The other conference can't play TIE all the way to the playoffs. Spider Team WILL have more enthusiasm than their competitor. Especially with injuries, teams in the other conference should look to purchase new players.

I would love to see one of my players, play for another team in this league, and in the playoffs (and hopefully finals).

if Spiderteam really wants to promote i won't purposely go out of my way to purchase more players and crush their hopes (i'm too nice to do that :p). They seem to want to go to D2 bad enough that they would spend lots of cash. If i do make the finals i will fight them with my current team (and maybe one more player to replace any injured players)

But don't count me out, my team has some history in beating teams with higher salaries, just look back to a couple seasons ago
But i still have to beat Wolf pack and either TBG or Grounders so i don't have any easy road either.
Wolf pack looks really similar to the recent TBG team. Same style of build.

Good Luck! I am not counting you out. In fact, I KNOW you have a better team than Spider Team. But, Spider team plays TIE guaranteed until the finals. You probably cannot do that. Thats where I am worried for you.

Also, Look at what happened the past season in league III.4...

looking back at some recent games, throughout the season i am pretty sure i have played TIE more than Spiderteam has, so i think both our enthusiasm is high. I can also play TIE until the finals, but it will be risky, no parentage that i will though. GS is gonna be the deciding factor probably.

Yea you have played more TIE than spiderteam has. But the thing is. Playing TIE at the beginning of the season has a much lower impact during the playoffs than playing TIE during hte playoffs.

Thanks Everybody! But even if i do promote spider team will still be here next year and if they still have thoughts on promoting they will be tough to beat, The Big Green and Grounders are also tough to beat if they are armed up, so even if you do try a run for D2 next season there will be lots of great team in your way.

Just to clear things up - I do want to promote, that is true; I do not overspend - in fact I still have lots of cash and make more every week, if I wanted I could do the same thing last season's winner did and buy even more expensive players but that would be just stupid. So even if I lose in the finals I will stay competitive for the next season. And I don't understand why Winners BC is assuming that my team is worse than Bright Shadow. Have you seen skills of my players or what? Or is it just a trash talk because you lost to me and you upset because you underestimated me. IF (capital letters are here on purpose) I promote it won't be because of you, you are not doing me a favor. Everything is still possible (injuries, GDP, etc.) and we will find out whose team is better after finals. Good luck everybody!

You probably want to promote more than i do :P I think i can probably beat wolf pack but against Grounders or TBG i am not sure if i can win playoff normal. IF i do make it to the finals i do agree that the key factors would be
-Injuries (if my backup pg/sg can return in time, or if anyone else on either team gets injured.
-GDP- both our teams have tons of usable strategies making it very hard to predict, high risk factor in predicting.
-HCA- not too sure how much this matters, but i think i will have HCA for 2 out of the possible three games (not too sure how it works) but i'll take any extra "advantage" i can get.
-GS- probably the biggest factor, pretty self explanatory.

Spider team is better than my team in terms of salaries, and our backups are around the same level, but we never know some factor like handling and passing/shot block, really bring up salaries. Also Spider team has older players so there is possibility of skill drops that might affect the outcome slightly. only slight advantage in position is have is maybe in SF. GDP will be really be a huge factor.

If i do not promote this season, prepare to see the same team with maybe 1-3 new (possibly better) players on my team next season.

Salaries don't play, it all comes down to the manager and strategy they uses. So, as I said, everything can happen in playoffs. In terms of GS - everyone took care of it, so tactics/GDP will be the key factor. If no injuries happen. And you also will have HCA on your side, which might be important if we have a close game.
