If it was a short shutdown I'd agree, but the website was down for over 12 hours for me. I couldn't see the result of my game and the following day I could not set the lineup for the scrimmage for quite a while. If the Devs see they can't solve the problem on their end it does make sense they freeze all auctions.

Just to clarify, BBs and staff said that it's 'normal' to push back auctions without any warning when a protracted shutdown happens. People have complained about this very thing too, as it had impact on NTs, sale prices and some time zones being cut off from auctions.

You can't have it both ways and proclaim that it's ok to use double standards based on a whim by some of the staff. Either you delay or you don't and you do so every time this kind of situation arises. And you better write down black on white what the policy is in this kind of situations and stick to it, so everyone knows, everyone gets the same treatment. Otherwise you get outraged people both when you push back and when you don't because there is no official policy and no consistent behaviour.

I am totally reconciled with te state as it is. Far-from-perfect. Always the solution with minimal effort. Almost no official communication when problems occur. No development of The Code. No fresh graphic design of the page. That's Buzzerbeater how I know it and how I like it.

People will always complain. I see it on Hattrick. Every single change in the game is hated by a significant number of users. And they are really developing it, communicate, the page works properly.

This is different though. Here they are doing what they feel like based on unknown criteria. I mentioned people complaining only because that's how I know they extended multiple times in the past, but that wasn't my main point. It would be helpful if there was a clarification on what we should expect.

But we know what to expect, I've written it above:)

Sadly, I'd have to agree with this now. For the past few months, this game has been a buggy mess, quite surprising considering major bugs used to very rare. It has made me realise, I don't care about new features or an app, I just want this game to be able to run smoothly and bug free.

There's no reason not to have it and it baffles me every year that goes by and still no.

I fully believe cancer will be cured before they get to fixing some very archaic facets of the game. It's still enjoyable to play although the lost potential of how great it could be is very frustrating.

And to call the market perfect is so very wrong. Passable and perfect are completely different things.
