And as announced previously we have been testing an update to Free Throws which will be implemented next season. This will make free throw percentages more realistic and also having Jump Shot and Jump Range become a small part of the equation.
I don't really know what to think of this: Is this more like a penalty on high level FT shooters with bad JS/JR (hence forcing us to train JS/JR) or a boost for players with good JS/JR with no free throws (so we don't have to train free throws)?
Would that also make the training court irrelevant as long as your player has very high JS/JR? Is BB regretting the decision of making training courts (hence those who invest in it will have freakishly high FTs) and trying to undo the mistake?
That said, in terms of realism, I'm not too sure. We got DeMar and LaMarcus Aldridge who can't shoot 3s but hit FTs at an 80% clip, and then there's Bruce Bowen who's pretty decent from 3 but just barely hits more than half his free throws.
