Probably the toughest season since I returned to BB.

Let's take the number of teams still remaining in the national cup as a quick and dirty proxy of competitiveness. We currently have 6 teams. There is only one Division III league with more teams than us (III.3 with 7 teams). We have more teams remaining than II.1 and II.3 (5, each).

Not to mention if you're contending in the cup you're conceding league wins and putting yourself in the relegation mix! Kind of fortunate I lost a couple weeks back, as it seems like Big 8 is finally upping the ante in terms of competition. Seasons past here it would've been relatively easy to field a playoff roster but now it looks like I have to alter my training plan a bit to raise my team's "floor" this season.
