I think its dumb that I can't just hire someone. Why do I have to bid against other teams.

Agreed 100%.
While I think it is fine to have a "signing bonus" relative to the skills of the coach, bidding against other teams is crazy...

Well it's disheartening when you lose repeatedly trust me I know it took my 2 weeks to get my trainer and I had to stay up very late, I don't know about you but that's not my idea of cool.

competing against the rest of the world is a real complication. there are numerous players i haven't bid on because the deadline is noon in Germany. seriously, that should be a category for the TL: "bid ends between these times"
