I think you will see the general populace of a country become less and less interested in the NT or u21 as the # of teams increase. It is tough to hold the attention of people who arent involved in any way. I root for our teams, and offer encouragement, but what else can I offer? I would definitely let someone know if I pulled a potential NT player from the draft, but other than this, the teams from V, IV, and even III might find it hard to feel a sense of connection.

I am endorsing CCLLMM. Not only is he in the NBBA, but he is very intelligent, and is one of the fastest game progressors we have ever seen. If I didn't know better, I'd think the Oaklandite was working for BB himself!

By the way, I also have a question for the candidates. On a scale of 1 to 50, how dependant will your future actions for the U21NT be on other teams' suggestions? In other words, how much will you make your decisions based on other teams?

First of all, who makes a scale from 1 to 50?

I don't think I can put a number on it anyway. There are times when roster selection, tactics, enthusiasm settings, etc are obvious. In those gray areas around the edges I think a good discussion/debate on these things can be very useful in making sure we look at the situation from all angles and make the right decision. But, I'm of course always going to listen to input from other managers when they're willing to give it.

I should add that, if they were willing to volunteer help, I'd be very deferential to both brianjames and JP, given their experience in the role and their knowledge of the GE.


Since Brian is going to remain my consigliere, we're both going to work closely with whoever gets elected, this absolutely has to be a team effort.

Whoever gets elected, when you open a thread about a game or something, can you please post a link to the game in question?

I often start clicking to the national team page and the games page and then the game in question, and half the time I get distracted by somet...
