Isn't this draft shaping up to be amazingly terrible though?

Well, I don't think either of us thought we'd be playing each other in round 1. I had assumed Technical Fouls had it all locked up.

This could get weird.

Well, AZ, it took nothing short of a miracle for the Riverdogs to end up where we did, but you know something? We'll take it! A big thank you goes to Saul and his fine team for the win over TF!

I didn't only play 3 to tank. I only played three to ensure no injuries before my relegation series.

I wonder how big of a difference it is to your merch between saaaay...two high salary guys, same skills, same salary, clones if you will. Except one you drafted and the others just a USA guy you got off the TL?

I agree with AZ: if you gave up on training for a couple weeks, you could be in the finals.

Ya, looking back on things now, I wish I hadn't picked up that 3rd 18 year old to train. I also wish I hadn't CT'd that cup game vs. MacLeod. Definitely reinforces the desire in me to never CT a non-playoff enthusiasm game again.

But I still got the playoffs thanks to your efforts :) despite Ortho's best attempt to keep me out. And for what it's worth Ortho, you could always still PON like you wanted to, you won't hear any complaints from me :) Definitely looks like it will be an interesting and tightly-contested playoffs. Good luck to everyone.

I should even relaxe it a bit more...I´ve lost 1 position @draft

I scouted 0 points this season... not sure you gained much by staying ahead of me in the draft :D

I'm not a big fan of training 18 year olds. It seems like you have to sacrifice too much to do it. You can't have a cup run and try hard in every league game.

Especially in this league, it seems pretty risky considering a possible accidental relegation. You managed to train some youngsters for awhile though and avoided the relegation series, so you've escaped that trap. I suppose that's the benefit of having a slightly easier conference this season. But you've already done the hardest part and it'll only get easier for you in the future, so...gamble paid off.

My next young trainee would be anywhere in the 20-23 age group instead of the ridiculously sought after 18-19 age group. I don't want to sacrifice a win if I can help it.
