you beat them last season, so why not just do the same thing again

Easier said then done, remember Neeber has not made a purchase this season at all, his 1 in a mill draft pick saved him having to worry about that. So assuming he is making about 60-70k a week he will have some coin around at the end of the season. Unlucky on that game Wags, though to almost beat him with your bench and 2 levels enthusiam is scary.

Ok boys, so I asked the question about ASW, figure it appropriate I get in with some research.

Assumptions - Teams are picked on highest player ratings and most commonly played positions on ratings today, obviously still a chance to change.

Big 8 -

PG – Neil Tabyraja, Igor Zakhorov,
SG – Jacek Sudzinski, David Chan
SF – Ashley Garbett, Gniewosz Sznajder
PF – Antonio Terroso, Ndongo Diakite
C – Gabriel Wall, Kor Sow

Great 8 -

PG – Franklin Balsiger, Woodrow Tabor
SG – Cal Moodie, Liao Ruizong
SF – Guxim Hamiti (sold), Nicholas Giddy
PF – Max Potter, Zachos Tsakalidis
C – Frank Camara, Janus Galik

Points of Note - Blue team is god damn massive, so strong that their are still stronger blue players that can't make the top ten then what are in the red team.
- Going on position, by ratings my entire starting 5 minus Guxim as he has been traded, in the top 50 their isn't even a second SF for the red at all!!

If line ups look anything like this, even if they don't I still see the red losing by 50+..

So disappointing..

i would be very surprised to see chan make it.. he has been spread 50-50 PG/SG whereas in the past he has been 100% SG.. i think in the Red you're missing Plabich, he would be the first guy i pick in that conference.

hopefully chan can reclaim his 3 point trophy :D

That is just how the numbers read mate, Chan is a long way back but their didn't seem to be any other SGs, or now I think of it was Suabia before Chan?? Got me second guessing now, I was pretty tired when I knocked that up.

Pabich is not in their as his game rating is way down, have a look at his GS, awful.. He is playing too many minutes a week, I assume Zed doesn't really care about what happens with his lot..

Gab Wall will likely miss out as he hasn't been played in just 1 position all season.
His training has required he either be PF/SF or the occasional stint as C.

You are right, he's the most talented big in the Blue and he's the only big really getting better with every week. :)

Suabia has been 100% in SG but only rating at 10.5 and is not having a good shooting season with below 40%

So i wont be upset nor surprised if the All Star team is missing a certain tinge of the ginge.

When I look at all of those amazing players and then consider how guys like Chan, Wall and Neil are just getting so much better each week it makes me very sad about my bunch of low potential guys. I tried to make them cost effective for their potential but no-one I trained before last season has any chance of being as good as those guys in a season.

Still hopefully in 2-3 seasons my superstar-MVP guys will start to not drag the team down but drag it up. Fingers crossed.

i dont think that potential should hold you back in div 3 hippo, but iit would be way more concerning if in div 2.. u do have some great trainees, and i think they should be making contributions by the end of this season.. stars of team no.. but should be of more benefit than just training.

Chan isnt getting better, just refined... plugging a few weaknesses.. he isnt my best player at the moment, Jech takes that cake... and eats it to :D Just gotta find the time to nab him 2 pops, and he weill be a beast :D

I know your pain, Moodie started at the same time as Neil and he is light years behind, having said that my choices with training until this season have been a little average. That is why I splashed a bit on a high quality trainee, I just got real lucky with the purchase price. Will have to wait and see how he turns out though..

Oh and Bains, remember as I mentioned that was not by personal opinion, purely using their ratings and positions. Person opinion I would certainly not have so many of my players which I am sure in practice will be the case.
