When you are already training a player and going to rebuild it's not easy to find players that fit in with the training plan, I spent more money to save me 1 whole season in out of position training.

This is my perspective of Maggot's plan..

The price of both purchases suggests that not only are the players pretty balanced and have training, but their return on investment will be low in the future, so this suggests to me that in 5 seasons time, these players will be the core to his team.

Usually trainees can cost around $500k, and would be good to train for a few seasons before selling off. I think these prospects are quite elite, so I guess we'll have to wait a few seasons to see how it all pans out.

I don't know their skills, but I can see their dmi. What salary would you expect them to be at next season for $2 mill a pop?

Dmi is useless to work out training, especially if you cant see the skills. I am not training so i can raise there salaries quicker and claim they are better because i have to pay a higher salary. Dave Hamilton and John Urwin were 2 of the better guards in our league and both had lower salaries and DMI than others, Both were starters in the allstar team and both were in the Three Point Shooting Contest. Dave was leading the League Leaders - Average Points Per Game for a while, and they both owned the most 3 points scored before i sold them. So what were the others guards with higher DMI and higher salaries doing?

Good to see someone else that can see past there next game and plan for the future. At 19-0 and then for the next 3 games can TIE and still have the HC add in the final's, even with 1 lose witch is meaningless to Iwen now.

Iwen why don't you tell us how long you have been planing this ABBL run for?

How long have you been training Eugenio Dell'Asta for?

Well, my intention was always for my rookies to mature as I push towards ABBL, before all their salaries hit 100k... which should be next season for at least 1 or 2 of them..

I've been training Dell'Asta since he was 18, so that's 7 seasons now!

So would it be fair to say that planning to have an ABBL team (not a ABBL team that get's relegated the next season) but a competitive ABBL took you 5 seasons + to plan?

Well there you go. I don't know how to explain it any better without telling you my whole plan, or advertizing what i think other people's plan's are.

I wish I had one of these plans, its so stressful and costly promoting to the ABBL only to be demoted straight away.
Going to need to sell a few players next season when I go back to div2 cos of the income hit.

That's because i will always have one advantage that you don't have. (Your my guinea pig)

We have always been in the same league and you were always ahead of me. you even beat me in div 3 to get into div 2, I have done a lot of changes to my team because of you.

By keeping an eye on you and seeing what works and what doesn't has been a big help. And i don't want to be in the same position you might be in. I hope you stay in the ABBL but it looks like it's going to be a long struggle if you do.

That's because your asking for to much. Mert Keklik is not worth 1.2mil at 29 tears old.

I had him at 1M, no sale.

Had him at 750k, no sale.

So now I have put him up again, but overpriced just for the hell of it. I've sold a couple others with slightly lower skills at the same age for 750k, and for some reason can't sell Keklik.
