Lol, nice find.

The difference, there, is that they are talking about purposely losing the season to get the best draft pick. If managers did that, I couldn't care less. Good for them. They take a risk on the draft. Sometimes it might work out and sometimes not.

The problem is that they shouldn't be earning bucket loads of cash, too. If they intentionally lose the season, they should earn less than someone who wins. The risk vs reward factor should be in the draft pick. That makes it a rebuild strategy through players, rather than a rebuild strategy through raking in undeserved profits.

I think the promotion money inthe playoffs should be more playoff games should be more money same tv money.. teams should take in more and promotion money should be more to the teams... If player wants to rebuild, and tank leet him.her do it.

Becuase it not penalize a team that migh have had great team but to old to compete. then go young and start losing.. let them tank its not hurting any other team but there own. Likei f promote and i get whipped every game by 30 pts.. its becuase im tanking i just have a weak team for the divsion. So its hard to say.

Maybe i need that draft pick. To stay afloat.. The way the market with allthe snipers and etc its very hard to build a team, unless stay up all night and bid load of cash and take the risk of being called cheat becuase you bidded so much on a player inthe last minutes. Its not easy answers..

My solution is increase playoff money and merchandise sales.. increase it by 10% and 15% with each playoff win. This why promotiong team can get player among promotion

I think that he was trying to demonstrate that even teams in Poland's D I are tanking through walkover.

Ah k.

Yeah, and this is totally unacceptable in my eyes. If a DI team fields two players, there should be MASSIVE penalties. They are the top team in the nation. Fans flock from afar to see their favourite teams play... They're not gonna wanna watch 2 on 1 full court.

More than 19k people showed up for this game. Since there wasn't a game played, people should demand their money back.

So I can sabotage my oponents income, with not fielding a team in an away game. No game no income from his arena:)
I still think they should force a lineup of atleast 5 players, if the team roster has that many players. Walkovers should only occure against teams with less than 5 players. Obviously a team forcing a walkover game, should not receive any income from the week that walkover occures (fines issued next economy update for merc, tv, arena income).

Neither team fielded enough players. This not the same as a WO.

I think if the rule were to be implemented where a WO game would force the home team to payback the fans(lose arena income), then to avoid any sabotage, if the away team is the team that forfeits then the away team would payback the fans(lose the same amount of money as arena income for the home team in that game).

It does not matter, it's still considered a walkover as no game actually takes place. The point is, there should not be an option to deliberately not field players. If they can, then the penalty should be current weeks income.
Even if both teams do not field any players. They just lose out on training. The home team still get's stuck with a win.
