Lakers burned again. Why do I love watching the Lakers fail so much? Is it Dwight? Is it Kobe? Or is just simply the Lakers as an organisation?

I am keeping in mind that Miami were even stevens after roughly 26 games in their first season with Lebron, so the Lakers still have some time to get things working. Miami did follow up with a huge stretch of wins that rectified their slow start, can the Lakers also?

On a side note, Linsanity finally lived up to his name for the first time in Houston and without Harden. Pity Parker had plans for a big game of his own to spoil the party!

It's Dwight Howard's free throw shooting. Lakers would've won at least 5 close games already if Dwight could just hit more then 50% of his FT.

That and the fact that they lack a PG. Nash out 19 of the first 21 Laker games. Blake also out for a prolonged period.

Ohh and no bench... Jamison and Jodie Meeks? Not going to cut it in the West.

Yeah i reckon the lakers are stuffed mate. No Chemistry what so ever. I read that no team has made the playoffs after going winless in pre-season and what do you you know, they are going crapola!

I LOVE how sports teams are quick to blame the coaches and fire them as quickly as possible when a team aint performing. good to see nothing has changed with the lakers.

They are also making a lot of turn overs, which I put down to chemistry and lack of genuine PG on the court. Funny how the best record they've had this season was during the interim coach.

Really wishin Bogut would get healthy and start playing, the Warriors aren't looking half bad atm. Curry is playing like an allstar!

The Warriors are sneaky good. I think they might make some noise even without Bogut, but he would make them even better assuming he got his form back from before he mangled his arm/wrist on that crazy fall.

And the Lakers lose AGAIN!!! This time to the Cavs! Oh man that is so good, love watching the Lakers get dropped. Looks like they'll be replacing the coach soon...

Lakers have been playing a bit better recently though and with Steve Nash finally back from injury they should be a tough team to beat from here on out.

If Derrick Rose can return from his ACL injury before the playoffs begin (which he's on track to do so if you believe the reports), the Bulls suddenly become title contenders because look at them; 15-11 without their star player? The Bulls are a good team that will become great if and when Rose gets back.

Interesting stat: James Harden leads the league in free throw attempts and free throws made this season...

Well what would you expect, he attacks the rim hard, and with such a bigger role in Houston of course he;d get the ball more and attack the rim more!!

Read a good interview with Darryl Morey their GM the other day and he said that's one thing he thinks is the most valuable skill in the NBA and that's why he went after Lin & Harden. The stats seem to be backing it up at the minute as well.

Yeah but I think the rockets should give Lin more time as the ball handler, because that's where he excels !
