Last season, buffalo Cobras, McArthurs Fury, and Starburys made the playoffs in the big 8. You want to be careful of the first 2 because they manage their enthusiasm throughout the season, especially McArthur's Fury. On the Great 8 side, Team WWE almost went undefeated, but ended up 22-2. Although his salary isn't high, his players play pretty well. The Big 8 was the stronger conference for the 3 seasons I was in this division, so if you can stay on top there you should be fine.

Also, your team looks beastly so I wouldn't worry...better than the team I used to win =).

Sweet

Great 8

Bridgeport Knicks-So many players... Not going to scare anyone though. Stars: None. Prediction: Relegation.
El Puerco Grande-A solid looking team, with an absolutely amazing young trainee to look out for in upcoming seasons. Stars: A good SG with a solid duo down low(18k). Prediction: Borderline between playoffs/just outside of them.
frito bandito-Not a team to overlook this team is looking for back to back championships. Stars: A great SG and some solid support players(38/13k). Prediction: Continue their recent dominance in D.IV, in fight for #1 seed.
Ohio Suns-Have a good inside/outside combo going on here. Stars: Led by a strong C and his SG running mate(16/12k). Prediction: On the outside looking in on the playoffs.
Pheonix Suns*-Looks like they are making some changes on their roster and are on the way up. Stars: A new PF pickup will lead them(17k). Prediction: Fighting to avoid the relegation series.
Seachickens-A nice and deep team, they are currently selling some of their key players. Stars: A good back court, with a pair of decent Cs(15/10/14/12k). Prediction: Looking at 3-4 unless they replace some of their stars.
Team WWE-Very strong on the wings, with ridiculous depth at the SF position. Stars: A whole crop of SF's(14/13/11k). Prediction: Experience/Depth vs. Youth/Superstars in the battle between Team WWE and frito bandito for the Great 8 crown.
The Arlington All Stars-Very strong in the forwards/center area, also grooming an excellent draftee. Stars: SF/PF/C, maybe no better group in the league(16/12/15k). Prediction: A playoff team for sure, could pull some surprises on anyone.

Great 8 Allstars
1st team
C:Juan Carlos Lopez(The Arlington All Stars)
PF:Shay Berman(Pheonix Suns*)
SF:Pere Fons(The Arlington All Stars)
SG:Anibal Rodrigues(frito bandito)
PG:Lonnie Jude(Seachickens)

2nd team
C:Tadeusas Polanskis(Ohio Suns)
PF:Shogo Huallpa(The Arlington All Stars)
SF:Michael Bridges(Team WWE)
SG:Sandigui Bakhoum(El Puerco Grande)
PG:Nolan Ali(frito bandito)

Next up is a complete league overview:-)

No offense IV but being my fourth season in IV.48 I'm hoping to move back up this season. Much love though, much love.

Arizona Roadrunners-Look to be a balanced team, but unfortunately not strong enough at the top end to compete for a playoff spot. Stars: A pair of decent PFs(11k apiece). Prediction: Looking at missing the playoffs this season, 5-7.

Hmmmm, how many games did you win last season??? :-) I bet I surprise you ;)

Well, after going 21-1 my first season and deciding that I should stay in DIV for another season (so I didn't necessarily give it my all for that season in playoffs), I lost last season as well as the second best team in the league :(.

I'm hoping I don't get surprised this season as well and have to stay ANOTHER season. Honestly, I think my team is as strong a lot of DIII teams right now so it would just be a shame.

Well here goes my prediction for the Big 8 of League IV.5, with the Great 8 up next..

1. Halifax Cavaliers - Led by three stars, including fringe U21 prospect from last season in Richard Azuaje, they look to be tough to stop in a very well balanced division.
2. Breckenridge Tigers - With two great big men to man their front court, no other team in the division looks to have the defense to stop them, and with great balance, they should challenge the Halifax Cavaliers for the #1 seed.
3. Miami Heaterz - A few stars, but not great depth. In the second tier of teams in the division, after Halifax and Breckenridge.
4. TheDragons - A great big man, but lacks the star power after that. With great depth though, they should challenge for the #3 seed.
5. Da Cavs - A few good big men, but not much after that. Way below the four playoff teams, needs another player or two to have a chance to compete.
6. Bryant Bobcats - One good big man, but really no star power or depth after that. Not a great overall team.
7. Sterling Warriors - Once again not a great team, looks to relegate with no stars or depth.
8. chicago lizards - Will probably go bot in a week or 2, so should not put up much of a fight this season.

All-Stars

Starters
PG - Richard Azuaje (Halifax)
SG - Almir Baiao (Miami Heaterz)
SF - Jimmy Jeremy (Breckenridge Tigers)
PF - Jeb Kyle (Breckenridge Tigers)
C - Luther Dunlap (Bryant Bobcats)

Backups
PG - Pier Luigi Bacino (TheDragons)
SG - Ingo van Meer (Halifax Cavaliers)
SF - Sergio Maffezzoni (TheDragons)
PF - Leevi Karinkanta (Da Cavs)
C - Cornelio Garfias (TheDragons)

Great 8 up probably tomorrow

I don't think I can do the Great 8, it is soooo unpredictable. Someone from that conference in my league can do it or not haha.
