Hey boys,

I must admit it is hard to get involved here because the entire season for me has been to get a great draft pick but I do appreciate noting all the banter every now and then.. I have had to fight real hard to be down the bottom with the last game I played almost losing to the bot with 4 players, 3 of 4 also being rubbish..

I will let you in on a little secret, I have scouted a 5/5, 5/4, 5/3 already so it seems like a reasonable draft.. Lets just hope they come back that way.. Div IV and training for me and hopefully back up here in a season or 2.. Good luck gents, I must say I am hoping for PP's sake he takes it out, that roster is just crazy...

Grade rating A+ so I hope you are right.. My plan is to do that, I am selling off my big man, I brought him a fair way but I want a cheap salary so I can only focus on my training, then I can spend the money on a L5 trainer.. Can anyone comment whether it is worth spending 30k+ a week on a trainer? How many more pops should you get?

i got a lev 6 & he is cool i get a lot of pops but cant really say i notice a weekly difference but over a season it is good

my level 6 is less than 40k a week so they dont have to be expensive

i have had a level 4, level 5 and level 6

you'll see a pretty big difference between 4 and 5
not so much between 5 and 6

i reckon a 6 will give u an extra pop per season, 2 at most
a 6 is great if ur training a u21 guy, but otherwise i dont reckon its worth it

Yeah I have had a good season with my lev5 trainer, gave TT 4 pops after he had capped! Just fired him though to try and prevent going bankrupt... :)

Thanks Sonic and welcome to the forums. I will be really interested in seeing your draft picks, training young Aussies is probably the best part of this game to me, oh, and being caught in a constant loop of just missing out on promotion from III.6!

This is my current Aussie guy, 19 years old which I know is a bummer, probably never get to NT level, but the well roundedness is amazing:

Merlin West (21093129) Center

Weekly salary: $ 3 994
Age: 19
Height: 6'0" / 183 cm
Potential: superstar
Game Shape: proficient
Jump Shot: inept Jump Range: mediocre
Outside Def.: inept Handling: respectable
Driving: mediocre Passing: respectable
Inside Shot: strong Inside Def.: mediocre
Rebounding: mediocre Shot Blocking: respectable
Stamina: average Free Throw: average

Experience: pitiful

Nothing atrocious, not even experience! In a few seasons I would like to have him with nothing below Strong, of course I will have to buy another trainer... :)

take it for whats its worth, his secondaries are good enough for a guard for now/ in fact better than most guards. better train his main skills which seem to need some help. JR and OD are not the easiest skills to train for a player training inside players at the same time as well as training on a 3 trainee rotation.

He looks like he will train up well and absolutely I will show the drafts skills, I am hoping he will be Australian U21 potential! Thanks for your advice too Akuma and bigfishy, I will look at buying a L5 trainer sooner than later and see if I can score a bargain as you have suggested.. :D
