Game 19 recaps
Sorry missed the last one guys
Tachenko at Phantoms
With Tachenko and Phantoms both coming off victories Tachenko looked to take the gloves off against the Phantoms and lunged for the knockout punch. Unfortunately the Phantoms ducked and returned a knockout blow instead. Neither team was exceptional on the stat sheet but a glaring difference was 3 pt shooting and the Phantoms just shot better. The first half looked good for Tachenko but the Phantoms came out hot in the second half and landed the final knockout punch. Phantoms 94 Tachenko 79
NP at Prov City
Both teams have phenomenal guard strength and both looked to play to their strength. Gallano has been hot lately for NP and didn't disappoint tonight with 29. But.............there is always a but right........Carmona had 26 himself and 5 other Prov City boys went double digits and nailed a stake through the NP heart. NP lost by 12 and gave Prov City 23 freebies from the charity stripe. Prov City 104 NP 92
Phakeouts at Crank Dat
This game was over by the third quarter as Phakeouts were outmatched early. Crank Dat had three players score 23 each and that is always hard to overcome. Crank Dat 111 Phakeouts 71
Bobcats at Allstars
Both managers have been looking forward to this contest and the Allstars put alot into this one. Lemos for the Allstars was big with 26 points and 15 boards but the Bobcats had 5 in double digits. The Bobcats didn't help themselves much by going barely 10% from 3 land but it worked out since the Allstars missed 10 free ones. Both teams looked inside and both teams were successful but this one belonged to the Cats in the end. Cats 115 Allstars 107
Blasters at Challengers
Both teams came out firing away in this one. Both had big scoring players. Schultz had 35 for the Blasters but Skalec woke up again tonight and 33 and added 17 boards. In the end this one came down to the supporting cast and the Blasters had it tonight. With a pep talk from the Blasters coach the team put a little more into it this time and it paid off. Blasters 107 Challengers 95
VD's at Flames
The Flames have been hot lately but Wilson has been hotter. Tonight he kept the heat on by draining 37 points and shooting nearly 50%. Wilson has put a huge numbers lately and is making a push for MVP. Hats got to off to the Flames who have turned it around in just a few weeks and their general manager may win awards for his job but for the Flames to win any awards this season they need to win the relegation and oh yeah shoot better then 9 for 32 from deep land. VD's 91 Flames 81
Bot at Red Terrors
From the playoffs to bot in one season the Champaign manager best be looking for a new team as he will be fired soon. Maybe the Nets will take him? Terrors 116 Bot 60
Dutchmen at Crazy's
To say that the Crazy's have struggled lately may be the understatement of the season. With their team struggling to gel and their stud Barry's inexplicable vanishing jump shot it was no shock that the Dutchmen came into Cleveland and jacked a win from the home crowd. Both teams love shooting the rock and this game ultimately came down to the fact that the Dutchmen shot better from long range. Gagis, Romary and Hutson are going to be a tough trio for any team to match up against. Dutchmen 103 Crazy's 95
Week MVP I need to give it to Wilson cause early on I would have thought he was just having a couple good games but he is proving that he can put up 30 on anyone.
Honorable Skalec-wish he was more consistent but man would love to have him on my team............who wouldn't.
