Well I was really on the end of my career anyway being already the oldest on my team by a margin and playing just domestic. Haven't played rep ball for years and I wasn't even in "A" grade domestic anymore anyway. So old, just hanging on and then a two year foot injury means game over. So sad, I wish I could just play casually occasionally but the risk of re-injuring my foot is just too much. Still it is funny occasionally when I muck around at school and students that don't know me assume I am just some old, skillless random and I hit them with the killer crossover, break their ankles and then do a fade away for fun. Would be a lot cooler if I could still dunk.
So you still didn't say who you played for. I was Tigers (Juniors) and Monash (Seniors) then got into Handball and had to focus on that before the injuries all started. So many I could fill the whole post with them. It is funny if anyone asks I say, "I'm always healthy" and my wife says, "Wrong, you are always injured."
