There is more to this game than top 5... 6TH!! try it. This season it is a real winner. So who will take one for the team and take 6th in the big 8? I really should take 5th as I feel I have a bit of ownership over it due to my many finishes there. I will let everyone else take the other spots this season. ;)

why? I needed to start on my next generation and he seemed like a good place to start. I'd have to mess up pretty badly to not get at a minimum a long term starter. And it's not like my team is crap at the moment that I need to buy 2-3 players to have a go.

I think 3 seasons of tanking for 5th is enough ;) and if I don't get close then so be it, not like I wont be able to use him next season ;)

Anyone care to venture an estimate as to what I should get for Pedrosa on the transfer market?

He is a 28 years old Small Forward who only costs 52K a week and ranks a fairly solid 15 playing in that position.

Would 1.9 Mill be too high a starting point?????????????????????????????

Not saying I will but seriously thinking about doing an Iwen/Zazz.

Any thoughts on what the remainder of my starting lineup would each be worth ??????????????????

Pandiani is only 25 and is a reasonable 129K a week and looks likely to win the leading Rebounder and is within reach of glass heart Duffill in the Average Points per game

Great 8 could just be the place to be again next season.

Might be better for me to drop back to div 3 and resurface in a few seasons time with a 10 mill war chest

If I was to sell my 5 remaining players, are there any thoughts as to when I might get the highest possible price for them?

Now, just before the trade deadline or at the start of next season???????????

Now the shoe is in the other foot. Last season the Great 8 teams watched as the Big 8 could tank just above Kynlala and bank millions all season while Hadders, Sid etc had massive rosters trying to avoid the deadly matchups. Lucky for Sid, Zazz didn't decide to just wipe the floor with him or it would have been three dead Great 8 teams. Being on the wrong side of a tanker or a bot is brutal when you are a marginal team fighting for the 5th-8th spots.

Further to what Yoda said, how cruel is it in the Big 8 this season. 4 rounds to go and;

percentage only seperates 3rd from 6th
8th spot Aussie already has 6 wins

Good on Slam I admire his win at all costs nature, Contrary to popular opinion id back a team of 200k plus starters in against most of the teams sitting between 3rd and 6th even with their home court advantage, and there will be no helping 7th in the Big 8, if Aussie gets to 6th spot in the Great 8

At the very least he will certainly encourage a reasonably established team in the Big 8, to venture into and to start scratching around in their bank vault

Exciting season, too bad I haven't been actively analysing teams like I used to be. When I get my life sorted, DFBS will be back in action. I don't really mind landing in 6th and have a few more games against Slam!

Yo! Yo! D for D best PF in D Aussie BB. D Name is Kye Duffill (10080211), averages nothing but pure amazing! Vote for Duffman!

Pancakes is beginning to make his move. Wouldn't be surprised if he assembles a team fit enough to win the abbl championship let alone the relagation battle.

Very much a different feel to last season.

I was so close to overtaking CCat to 5th spot but couldnt quite make it and at the same time I was watching Zazz and Iwen tussling over 7th spot and the right to play me in a relegation series.

This season no such stress

Just to help CCat and half the teams in the Big 8, Ive gone and put some decent players on the market for them to look at

We finally get to see Pedrosa. He is very good, I'm not sure why you want to sell him. SFs like that perform far above their salary and outplay lesser SFs week in and week out. Interesting to compare him to Sperbert, Sperbert kills him in JS, JR, IS and DR combined but will admit Pedrosa has a slight defensive edge in OD, ID, RE and SB combined. Overall TSP Pedrosa 110, Sperbert 108, that massive HA gets Pedrosa the win.

Took best part of 8 seasons training to get him there. I guess in a season he'd save a purchaser 500K in savings as compared to a 100G a week alternative who would probably produce less anyway

Your turkish delights seems a bit over priced, but your portugese tart might get a bite.

At the end of the day I'll much prefer a good old aussie shepard pie in Wazza. Always an old classic.

Carrot to CCat, I reckon I'll probably start from scratch if I sell Pedrosa

Reality check to Sid, at those prices you wont be selling anyone in this market
