Yeah, I'm looking to dump my team once Stronks is done with NT. I'll probably demote and then try to get some trainees. I haven't cared about winning games in a while, it's all about training guys for NT for me. I don't know why, but that's always been the most interesting thing to me. Seeing if you can make a player that is one of the best in the world. Hopefully I can get a trainee to exceed what Stronks has done, but that could be difficult.

Teams will have to mail owners of high potential draftees and blow their socks off with offers to buy them. As it stands, nothing is ever available after the draft.

Why the game engine decided to make us attempt 26 three-pointers in inside isolation to their 6 is annoying and mind-boggling to me. You'd think since our defence was a whopping 5 overall levels higher, our overall offence was higher, and both teams' offensive flow was equal that we would be the team less likely to be forcing things on offence, and certainly not to such an absurd degree. Our highest JR guys took either 14 or 20 threes but our highest IS guys took either 11 or 17 threes so there has to be some randomness in the amount of threes we took.

27 mins and -20 +/- from respectable GS players at SF probably weren't ideal. Then again, Sammons was -20 with 20 mins as a big and Stav and Collins as two of our clear-cut top players were hugely negative +/- too. Laurent fouling out after 14 mins hurt. Regardless, hard to complain about blank line-up and double correct GDP.

Miracles happen when facing CT. Need to get over that. Oh well, we lost a spot in 2nd phase because of PD. I didnt want to play CT and then be a cannon-meat in 2nd round. If I knew the final score I would make different decision but nothing can be done about it now.

Hurts a bit, but it was still an exciting couple of weeks after winning Americas championship.

How do we look moving forward? Is there starting to be some drop off in skill at the high end or are the new trainees going to be up for the task?

Also a totally unrelated question, is it still possible to save trainees? Is this something the NT will be doing this season?

I think you did a solid job with a crap schedule. You kept the community engaged and at least made the season entertaining.

We look pretty bad. Not going to be a bottom-feeders in America, but getting a medal wont be an easy task.
You can see a depth chart on the off-site. unofrunately I dont have 10 top-notch players hidden anywhere.

It is possible to save trainees, but only from teams that are going bot. It really sucks but the player called up from bot team is not going on transfer market. And yes, if there is a notice that team will go bot (I have no time to check all of the leagues manually), I will check if there are players worth saving and will have 2-3 roster spots ready for that.

On the last point: I agree that we didnt have much chances originally, but I thought that after a game with Czechs we really had a shot at something special. Unfortunately it wasnt enough. There were things that I could have done better, but ultimately the GS in last game and Hall's GS against Finland proved to be our undoing (and not enough risk with GDP with Finland but its easy to say in retrospect).
I am hoping bigger things will happen in the future. I plan to stick around for a while, not necessary as NT manager, to make sure that we will be a medal contenders in Worlds 10-12 seasons down the road.

Ok guys, for scrimmages I would like to make couple of callups. We should have 5 swpots available because I would be removing 34 year olds. Take a look at the depth charts and let me know who you think should be called up. Doesnt necessarily have to be someone with most skills, but someone already well developed and with highest NT potential.

And go!:

Can you post depth chart on the new site? Still can't see expanded forums on the English Community one.

Guevin, Macindeor, Trotter, Laverdue, Sobuza or something. I'd personally call up the best guys because any young high potential players who are well developed will be NT fixtures for like 8+ seasons pretty soon.
