Well, one conclusions is the Danish manager isn't that bright, sorry, has a different view from what you might expect about the mix he wants on court from his bench players.

Well... Despite the good ratings and spot on tactic we got a beating :( (7850)

The enthusiasm might have made a difference and other things as well... All in all, DK seems to have a knack to come up with these results...

elboss you nailed the tactics and really imo even with them playing at a higher level of enthusiasm I feel that was a pretty.. we'll say unexpected... result. I really don't know what to say about that match other than I think you played it correctly and win that one the majority of times it's run through the GE.

Yeah, it's a bit of an outlier. To be honest I kind of second guessed myself, on hindsight with a more balanced defence we could have reduced the chances of such thing happening...

Oh well... We are still in the top half of the table, at the 24th place. Not much change there, so all in all we survived unscathed this slip up.

Next is Bosna i Hercegovina, hopefully with a bit more luck!

Senegal is our last opponent for this phase of the consolation tournament. We are not mathematically qualified to the next stage given a record of 5-2. However it's rather unlikely that we'd be out even if we lost this match.

That said, we are not gonna lose. We are gonna win and I'll try to win big. As big as possible in fact... Reason being that I'd like to be on the top half of the table (first 16) for the next stage. Unless the rules have changed, that should give us HCA on the first match. Unfortunately that is going to be tough... But you'll never know!

The teams which are potentially qualifying are all well within our league. It should be an interesting couple of matches!

Incidentally Christopher MacBurie (5150521) is up for grabs. His salary is up there, but if you want a monster, that's your pick!

The match against Senegal went well. (7925) 99-44, we jumped a few positions. Unfortunately still on the wrong side of the table: we ended up 18th.

Our next opponent should be Nederland. A toughie. We'll see what we can do...

Actually I was wrong. We are playing Bosna i Hercegovina on Monday!

I have played Bosna i Hercegovina a couple of times already:

(7886)
(7009)

With a 1-1 record. We lost the scrimmage and won the Tournament match. The scrimmage was a bit experimental though.

In the match we won we put more enthusiam in it than they did. And we were playing @ home. Now we play away.

Obiously this is a tough assignment for both teams. It can go either way. We'll do out best!!

If I'm not mistaken again, the winner of this match will face either Srbija or Suomi.

We won the match 116-115 (8154)

We played harder and it payed off... Barely... So far we are the only team without HCA to go through, so there is something to be proud of right there...

Next match should be against Srbija
