Cup is tough this season. I've been blessed with easy games so far. I think everyone needs the extra cash. I've been dumping league games to win cup and keep my gameshape solid. It will be a blessing when I get knocked out!

I'm having marchfield shottas for dinner. Not sure how it's going to taste, but my guess is it will be tender and easy to chew

Goats went Cup Shopping tonight. After taking their bank account down to $2,156 last week following a couple upgrades to their roster, the Goats have decided that while they would love to run the tables on the rest of League III.4 as they could so very well do at any given moment, they have taken a more aggressive approach towards focusing on the cup games while staying aggressive enough in league games to ensure they do not have to fight for the right to remain in this awesome league. At the current moment, a League Title is not on their agenda but a playoff run is still in their cross+hairs.

Wow. I can't figure out how to get Partridge to score even though I know I played RnG tonight. I wanted to test out a couple things in tonights matchup and it was primarily to see how he performs while focusing on rebounding. Outstanding to say the least but the 1-3-1 defense didn't help in his case.

Kenneth Hiatt was graded at 8.0 despite recording a double-double with 16 points and 15 rebounds. I'm like his progress a lot but I'm discovering that if you're going to have youth on your team, it's best to concentrate that youth in the area where you can maximize your training. I'm having to make too many tough decisions on who gets training minutes each week. His shooting was sub-par and most likely he benefitted from the extra attention they gave to the rest of the stars on the team.

Galvao Veiga Paz had an outstanding night of shooting ... as long as we wasn't at the charity stripe. He finished the night 11-15 from the floor, 5-8 from beyond, but was a dismal 0-11 from the free throw line. While the Goats are sticking to their training plan for the week, Head Coach Lacefield has decided that his team needs to focus on knocking down those free throws and will be spending the next few weeks concentrating solely on that one particularly troublesome area of the Goats' game even though it certainly is not the only aspect that needs correcting.

The Struggles of the Goats though comes down to who plays where on any given night. It appears they are set with their Bigs as they have Partridge and Harvey solidified as their starting C and PF respectively. The primary backups are Bobby Dorman at the 4 and Damon Mohr, an extremely experienced 30-year old, relieving Partridge. The quiet emergence of Kenneth Hiatt gives the Goats another solid option for relief duty, especially while they try their hardest to manage minutes during the Tournament.

The real struggle though is who goes where at the 1-2-3 spots. It's apparent that Clinton Cantrell is solidified as the starting PG. However, the recent acquisitions of Veiga Paz and Netos Digkas, two SG's with bright futures ahead of them both makes it tougher on who to use on any given night. The Goats could go Cantrell/Titus at 1, Veiga Paz/Digkas at 2, and Capps/Webber at 3. But what about Lawrence Coyle? The baller provides solid insurance at any of the 1-2-3 spots and over the years has filled in very nice for Clinton Cantrell at the 1. The issue teams have to consider on any given night is what rotation will the Goats play on any given night? Cantrell can play 1 or 2; Veiga Paz can play 2 or 3; Digkas can play 2 or 3; Capps can play 2 or 3; Titus can play 1 or 2; Webber can play 3 or 4 or 5; Coyle can play 1 or 2 or 3.

It's not a matter of answering a simple question of what enthusiasm are my Goats playing at this week but teams of League III.4 must now account for what slaughter will they be bringing this game. We're like Wolverine. You can damage our exterior but we heal pretty quickly and just simply will ... not ... go away. You can expect us to bring not just our Goat Pen but the whole damn farm with us. So you're team better saddle up their ponies because it's going to take more than a couple wannabe Cowboys to round up these Mighty Goats!!!

nah-nah-nahnah-nah!!! pppptttttttbbbbbbb!!! ;-P

I wish I had the problem of having too many players to know who to start, but sadly i have little depth, and insuficient funds to do anything about it :( Your team is looking pretty strong and I can't wait untill our next matchup.

Only one team from out league lost in CUP last night. Tech lost to Rice Eaters in a close one. That Rice Eaters team is legit.
