After watching last night, I'm rather confident in the Lakers. It might sound counter-intuitive, considering the loss, but they know what they need to do next time to get the victory and I'm confident that they can do it. They played well, except for the times that they didn't ;). I was generally unimpressed with Dallas (though, as always, Dirk impresses me). My only concerns are Pau and Artest...they need to step up a bit.

After tonight I fear that Miami will win the thing. They will beat the Celtics it seams and I think they can easily handle the Bulls or Hawks. In the Finals they will meet the Mavs or (I hope) OKC. But with both I'm not sure if they can beat James+Wade.

I'm hoping for Heat vs OKC, "fake tough guy versus scoring champ".

Crunchy! If you eat fast enough

A Heat/Mavs finals could be very compelling if Butler and Beaubois are both healthy. The Mavs can guard the Heat better than anybody already, but Butler would only add to their advantage in that regard. They also have a much better coach.

I still think the Mavs will win. They look very strong against the Lakers.

I disagree completely. I think the Mavs look strong because LA's playing awfully.

In the last three seasons only 3 teams in the NBA have advanced to the 2nd round of the playoffs in all three years. We know the Lakers and the Celtics are two of them, can anyone name the 3rd team? (without looking it up)

mmm...Atlanta? I'm going by process of elimination.

And it looks like Dirk has taken up the challenge. Aided by Chandler, Barea, etc.
