I suppose I could stack away 300 or 400k a week for the 10 weeks left in the season instead of losing the 75k a week I'm currently losing.

Having said that I'm hoping to win a few cup games and get some more seating into the stadium

Went damn close to bankruptcy a few weeks ago, it would be nice to get some cash back in the bank

Not really the way you want to enter the ABBL. Yeah you might have made it there but you are basically gutted financially and don't have a solid base to build upon. I think you may have taken WB's idea to extremes.

There is a good argument to cut the losses and regroup for next season by stacking some cash so that I can be competitive back in league II.3

Havent quite given up as yet though

When you relegate you are sent back to a random league. This is the one way thet you can even end up in an all bot league.

One lesson I'm learning is that if you dont have a big stadium when you make div 1, your going to struggle as you need to get the income in to compete.

Thought my arena was okay but even selling tickets at the maximum and getting a sell out, my gate was still 61k below the average for the week

Ideally I need to spend another mill on it after the current extension but that aint gonna be affordable unless I sell the beast

yeah i'm aware of the arena issues and being able to boost your tickets to max at the start. I reckon my stadium would do alright in the ABBL but gotta get there first.

1 in 4 chance you land back in our Div next season, we'll be hoping you don't because you'll like kick all our arses if you do! :-P

League II.3 here I come.

I reckon the all time losing margin by a team in an ABBL game could be broken tonight

You sure they didn't pick up a trick or two from those Colliwobbles? :-P

Nice win bro, least you know you won't have to do a lap around the court with your pants around your ankles! Isaak came out hard, jumping straight to the top of the scoring and rebound leader boards, he has only played the one game as of yet though. Can he continue that form against better opposition?

Another easy win for me and an away game in the bank. That's two TIE teams to start my season, helping keep my minutes manageable.

Beechy having a far better start to this season than he's had in the last two seasons. Stone Slashers appear to have bounced back (knocking off Chelsea in an upset) after last season's dismal performance and are looking dangerous early on, as are Haggards who's also lifted the bar a notch this season. I think Smeltztroopers and Nasciboys are gonna have to dig deep and lift their efforts to stay in touch.

The big surprise is Pheonix 5 do not appear to be putting in much effort to make an early mark on the competition. Dropping two early games all the while training up his new C replacements. Radford is being played out of position while being fished on the trade market.
