yeah it is a sad state of affairs when this shit happens.. you can guarantee there are prolly 5-6 guys sitting somewhere in france thinkin how clever they are... dipshits....
tonite should be a boring stage... i would expect the peleton to let the break away finish the stage, whilst they rest their legs for the pyrenees starting tomorrow. as long as noone challenging for overall or the green gets in the breakaway, the peleton will let them fight it out.
expect maybe to see Daryl Impey from Greenedge in the breakaway and maybe fight for the stage... Liquigas wont let goss go, so it is up to someone else from the team to get in the break.

i seriously do not understand greenedge.. last nite was the perfect stage for Impey to get in the break, and he would have outsptrinted those guys..
all i can think, is that they are desperate for an aussie to be their first stage winner...

Goss has been good... But Griepel, Cav, Sagan have just been unbelievable...
Gerrans got banged up early, going into the barbed wire fence early. so is prolly struggling some what...
not sure if there is anyone else on the team still in the race :P

hot damn! frank schleck returns a urine sample with an anomoly for a banned diuretic taken on Friday and has withdrawn from the tour..
why is it, that more action seems to happen on rest days, than on race days??
Schleck whilst never having recorded a positive b4, has been suspended by his team for making large payments to a doctor linked to operation puerto and systematic doping of cyclists..
Lets wait and see what the excuses are... I am guessing it wont be contaminated meat, but some over the counter drug he bought...

Anyone reckon Wiggo or Cavendish can back it up with a win in the time trail and road race at the Olympics?

Cavandish is a lock if it gets to a bunch sprint, especially with Wiggans leading him out. Might be harder in a five man team to pull back a good breakaway though.
I think Cancellara is a lock for the TT, especially after a good rest.

Wiggo proved he is in smashing form for the TT. I have no doubts he can back up.. Alot of the other TT guys just arent in great shape...
The road race looks absoluely like a sprinters course... Cav proved in the last 2-3 sprints, he is that far ahead of any other sprinter in the game when the finish suits him..
I would be more surprised if they didnt win, than if they did!

ohh koops not you to! please dont call it the tour de fail.. we are so quick to lavish praise on our athletes when they do something great, but when shit happens and they dont perform, or are simply beaten by a better athlete, we turn on them in a heartbeat! i think peter stefanovik called it the tour de fail, uneducated ponce...
cadel has more chance at the TT than the road race.. Goss would have more chance of winning the road race than Cadel..

heheheh i dont really follow cycling but i do watch it in the olympics...
i heard tour de fail somewhere and just typed it down, and yes we are quick to be very critical of our own athletes, just like the situation with Leisel Jones right now. poor girl.
