Ofcourse...every tactic has specific conditions: 3-2,1-3-1-high OD on SF,PF even C bucause of that is more usefull for lower legue and so on.....but no matter that FCP will steal more balls than other tactics (almost always) if you play with the same teams against slow tempo of tactics.
I wouldn't recommend FCP at start of the season (game shape)

I dont really see your point with your beast having high rebounding, In what way do you meen it is good?

And thanks Manon for opening my eyes to patient.

I actually do think this will be my next big tactic, letting me keep Song, my beast player.

But what level of passing will be needed on the other players? Obviously 2 players (PG/SG in offence) with as high passing as possible, one of them with high OD and one with high ID (for m2m defence). Then 1 player with high ID and OD for defence SF, but what level of passing for offence? Do you think 7-8 is enough (its much easier and cheaper finding level 7 ones of course.)
And then 1 player with good IS (as a counter to 3-2), ID and RB, but what level of passing? Again, is 7 enough?

The last player of course beeing the beast player, moving around in offence on all positions(?), or should one avoid for example C, because they take fewer shots from outside?

Many teams force best players to play 48 minutes no matter their stamina.Good OD is bigger factor, but more importent are opponent`s low passing, low ball control and free throw.
Make no sense to play FCP for few extra steals like this match:

You need mass of steals..like this match:

I was under the impression (after testing some myself) that C takes fewer 3p shots for example than PF based on the position alone. Is that not the case, is it only based on mismatch defence/offence?

Suddenly remembered that my TOs are going to be inside based SFs, so I can pretty much decide the PA for myself. Only problem is their potential, I will have to keep a close look.

I ran almost exclusively patient last season with good flow. I think it worked very well overall. I had some injury problems during the middle of the season that hurt me, but by the end my team was dialed in. I was deficient in rebounding and id. I bulked up just before the playoffs. Myopic then bought a third beast inside scorer for his LI and my leading scorer went down for the entire playoffs. I decided to abandon my pursuit of the title and rebuild. I had seen what I needed to and plan on building any future team this way. This team was simply an experiment I fell into that I built with older players. It was never meant for me to sustain thus the rebuild currently with three fantastic trainees I bought with this offense in mind. The key is great passing but also players that compliment each other. I had a power forward that could shoot the lights out. A small forward with great driving. A post player with high inside scoring. A do everything point guard. A shooting guard with lots of range. And versatile bench players. I had a lot of places I could exploit a weakness. I also had shot blocking to help against LI and passing all over the floor. My center was proficient at passing and only my power forward was below that at respectable in my 8 man rotation. It was very expensive to build that team, even using older players but if you can afford it, it's a lot of fun.

Good post. I've always though about building my team around patient. Just not sure what kind of pieces I need on my team.

Please excise this late posting, but I have won a championship playing Patient.
The d4 lvl you only need one stud and 4 decent defenders. As you go higher you will need more diversity with players with ability.
Do not under any circumstance discount a players exp.
Younger players will simply lack the 'patience' to work this effectively......your players involved should at least have a respectable to pull it of constantly for 4 quarters.
