Forgot to set a scrimmage lineup...
ruined my gameshape just before relegation!

So long D2. The one team i didn't want to play. 5 players over $30k. not sure how they missed the playoffs?

Early game time got me. Barely had 2 minutes left to load last game's tactics. So used to games starting 14 hours later.

Interesting Lincoln went with 2-3 zone / inside guess. If i had time my plan was to go with outside isolation but change my SF among other tweaks. (Figured I may as well demote with outside isolation! But now i have the shame of demoting with low post. eww.)

So a preemptive goodbye to D2. I was probably going to tank next season anyway. Had massive skill drops, (like my PG losing 3 levels of OD between games 2 & 3... what timing!) While Lincoln has a solid core that should last for quite a while. Oldest player is only 30.

Wow, didn't expect that outcome. Got lucky i guess. My injured backup C made it back after 3 weeks out, so that certainly helped too.

Congrats Lethargy.....Sometimes losing a player even a so-so player can really hurt you. Gokalp (injured after seven minutes in game 1) is one of those guys who is young and improving (+5 sp this season), but still not that valuable. And since he only played seven minutes in the first game victory, I didn't expect that much difference with my other SForward, but I had a premonition that there might be a turnaround and that is why I went with the 2-3 inside offense guess, because I didn't think I could win straight up. And I didn't. I think my weak stamina issues hurt me, but I was still down at halftime. Usually, my team competes better in the early going, but not this game.

I jumped two levels from IV to II two season back and the team never was really ready for level II.....still it was interesting. My non-utopia team should promote to DIV II USA this week, so it was a good learning experience. Hopefully, my youngish Utopia team will be back at this level pretty soon after a little more seasoning in DIV II.

And good luck to Peleviall II - Lequano Basket Knights winner in Div I.
