In my opinion, having seen other games like this, one of the main reasons of disaffection is the training system.

it is not acceptable that, after waiting a week and being forced to coach only a few players, one does not even know what was the effect of this workout.

it's frustrating and many, many, many players give up.

other games allow you to train every single player in one specific skill but, more important: they let you know the level of increase that that training has produced.

I think that this is the next important feature that the developers must bring to the players (us)

I don't think so. Many people love the training as it is and I assume most of them would quit, if sthg. would change about it.

I don't believe that the utopia teams are included in the 20,000+.

Till the end of January I'm sure the number of users will drop under 19k.

At the rate we are going, no way we are under 19.000 teams in 3 Mondays.

Also, there is currently 20.155 teams; At no point in time recently did we bottomed at 20.003 teams. The lowest each week in early Monday.

Just for reference:
At the current rate, it'll take about six months (26 Mondays) to drop below 19000.

I have come to the conclusion this game is a cross between being a individual equal to beer league softball combined with a dash of pro rasslin. Not in that the game itself is fixed, but there are common threads and themes which seem to run thru each contest. Sometimes the game will throw up a few swerves, and sometimes funky match ups and tactics will lead to unusual experiences but in a lot of cases you can have a pretty good idea what to expect for the final outcome within a couple of points on the spread either way.

+100, although I think you may be overly optimistic.

@Knecht:

And I assume more people would rejoice than quit if they actually fixed the training system.

If you quit and look for a training system like BB's, the only one you will find is Hattrick. That's because in a way BB spun off from Hattrick. And Hattrick is declining almost as fast as BB.
