So why are you selling him? I have Oliver who is much worse, has a high salary and will be a Seagull for life having been the star of my team in the early seasons. That is surely the advantage of being in the ABBL that you can afford to carry a player like that.

I weighed up about it and was thinking about carrying both Asvestas and Elleman till the end of their career but I decided only to keep Asvestas. Mostly because of more single position PG training meaning I need to gut someone from my guard position and also I'm looking to reduce my salary costs as I project a fairly decent salary increase next season. So it was between Elleman and Burne to sell once my Cup run was finished this season. Need to rejuvenate this team one day so went for youth instead.

I am sort of in the same position. I could sell off my old start Oliver and Vallo, save about $60,000 a week and not really miss much. I have seven guards/SFs at the moment as well as Lawrance who can play SF as well. With Barton, Kumar and Dexter being my guards of the future, Sperbert being my SF, Roby my designated stopper there just isn't much rotation time for Oliver and Vallo. As standards continue to go up every season they will just get worse and worse.

Since chumunga has ruled himself out of the CUP
it looks very much like urmumma, monkeybiz and slam! are favs to take out the CUP title.


I would probably say out of those 3 slam has the biggest potential to win the cup (no disrespect to the other 2) because if slam has money and can add 1 more player for the last few rounds of the tournament he will have the best starting 5 vs the other teams having better depth.

But yeah im glad for your sake that it wasnt all bad and you get a nice PD boost which will be handy come finals!

Moral of the story is:
Tremell wont always be honest on the forums if you ask him what his plans are for a particular game. So just dont do it :-p
