(posted part of this in help forum, but seems relevant here as well with the GS speculation.)

Just had a player that didn't play a single minute all season increase in game shape...
& another that played 58 minutes fall close to 2 levels of GS? (DMI was cut in half, despite receiving full training & a skill pop)

But even from this week alone.... another guy with 50 some minutes & full training had his DMI fall by 60%. None of my players receiving training popped in GS, & none have ever gotten a visible cross-training pop either.

So as arbitrary as GS seems to be, how can anyone know if GS is one of the things receiving cross-training or not? Also, seeing as how GS isn't an actual "skill", & is listed separate (under age / height / potential)... idk. Just makes it less probable in my mind that the 10% goes there.

Trained RB for 45, my tag-along 23 year old trainee popped in Rebounding 9 -> 10 and Driving 5 -> 6. Was supposed to team train this week but saw 4 trainable players at F and C got enough minutes for training this week, so......

I hear you on that.....I trained my 20yr old like this......1 on 1 F's, IS, IS, 1 on 1 Fs, 1 on 1 Fs.....got 2 IS pops, 2 driving pops, 2 handling pops but his JS hasn't popped yet....I am going to do a block of REB, and ID and then come back to his IS and JS...But it should have popped..

(just a suggestion/question) Do you think they slowed down JS this season? Maybe "they" thought it was popping too fast, or too many people were training it.

The initial announcement about cross training did suggest that the reduction in primary skill training would be related to how unbalanced the skills were for the player. They suggested 10% for the average player, but it might be greater. In that case we probably need to have people report some measure of that imbalance (perhaps the variance of skills) along with their training rates.

For me this season, my JS popping has been pretty much right where I expected it to be through 1 JS and 2 OneVOne weeks. But my guys have only been trained 1-2 seasons, so there hasn't been a lot of time for the skills I've been training to seriously outpace the skills I haven't.
