Whoa! Rondo doesnt deserve his accolades?.. If he had a better jump shot he would be top 3 players in the league. The guy is still almost unguardable and they KNOW he is going to drive on them..

Rondo is tough to defend, that's for damn sure.

LeBron James didn't quit but his team did. I am mostly pissed about the Cavs loss for two reasons, A) I despise the Boston Celtics because they were the laughing stock of the league for a short while until they bought themselves a championship. Rondo and Pierce has been their best products so far but they wouldn't have made it without the addition of Garnett and Ray Allen. Big Baby Davis? Really, he's one of the biggest dipshits I've seen in all of basketball. I cannot stand watching that sloth play. Scalabrine? Poor excuse for a player. He appears to be the most awkward player on the court at times and I throw up a little inside my mouth each time I watch him play. And oh yeah, Perkins. That dude plays like he's mad at the world, as if one wrong look in his direction and the Sears Tower is next for American structures to be destroyed ... only to see him come up with ho-hum numbers. Oh sure, rebounds are nice and all but is that really all he can offer other than a few blocks here and there? Stupid cunt.

and B) watching LeBron James and Co. flex their muscles against my Bulls made me want them to go on to win it all only because you never want to be the team that lost to the team that lost in the next round.

Mo Williams did not help his team out one bit. Fouling Rajon Rondo to fould himself out of the game would have the Cavs more good than just letting him go to the basket freely. LeBron James can only do 1/5th of the job on the court. He still needs the other four guys to do their parts and when you have Mo Williams jogging up the court, Shaquille O'Neal plodding, Varajao being the one to take the three, Jamarrio Moon stepping out onto the court with that big ass goofy grin of his when the Cavs are down huge in a game they need to ensure a game 7. They disgusted me last night. As a Bulls fan, it disgusts me that I had to cheer this team on only to watch them let the Celtics deficate all over them as if they were the recipients in 2-girls/1-cup.

Just an FYI, I've been pretty sore lately after my Bulls lost and watching the Cavaliers get made to look like little girls.

bosch can play as power forward.

parker, james and bosch... in the same team would be painful for most of the teams.

Hey I understand you have to defend Rondo not saying he isn't good just saying I don't believe he is as good as the C fans think he is. Yes he is quick and can drive and I can't argue with his passion/determination but a PG needs to be able to shoot the outside J, and he isn't exactly the best defender either. His best attribute is driving. In BB terms he has wondrous driving, respectable rebounding, mediocre JS inept JR, and strong Inside shot, proficient passing, proficient handling, mediocre outside defense. It is nice to have a wondrous attribute but somewhere the poor ones will be exposed usually in the playoffs.

I would agree, except a little higher passing and handling

totally agree with your assesment of rondo. The Cavs played off him which was smart, but when he did drive his man just let him go to the basket. Youplay off him so that you give up the shot but give yourself time to step up in front of him not continue backing up untill he gets to the rim. Also rondo is not that great of a passer. He makes bad decissions like a cross court pass with lebron trailing. Yes he makes some "nice" passes when driving to the rim, but honestly theres no difficulty really there any person could make a similar pass, hes no steve nash.

to Goats: I hope d wade goes to Bulls that would be an insanely fun team to watch.

I"m imagining LeBron signing with the Knicks and finding a way to beat the Celtics to get his revenge. Would be a great story.

If Rondo played for the Suns, he'd average 12 apg and probably score 20 per game. As much as Nash does on the offensive end, he's likely to give it all back on defense. Rondo is well above average defensively at the pg position. Look around the league - most point guards aren't great defenders because it's so damn tough to stay in front of the quickest players on the floor.

I think Rondo's a great passer. Most of his turnovers occur when a teammate can't handle one of his passes because he's usually seeing a play before it develops and well before his teammates do. Sure he makes some bad decisions but so do Nash, Paul, Williams etc...the rebounding is just icing on the cake. He's the best rebounding pg in the league which helps make him a one man fast break.

The Celtics have had a tough time this season coming to grips with the fact that it's become Rondo's team. ISO plays for Pierce just don't work that much anymore and the offense doesn't flow unless Rondo's in the game with the ball in his hands. They've finally realized that Rondo is the man now and they're winning because of it.

He has his well documented faults of course. The Cavs don't know how to defend him. They tried to back off but weren't smart enough to pull it off. Kobe and the Lakers have had excellent games defending Rondo in the past because they have a great coach and better players. The Magic had success doing it last year too. The kid's only 24 though. He's going to figure out his jump shot and then he's going to be in the discussion for best PG in the NBA. He's already starting to figure out free throws. The poor shooting hasn't held him back much so far, so as a C's fan I'm pretty excited about the possibility of Rondo with a jumper - and he is willing to work on it.

Ferocious comeback by the Dutchmen tonight. The fight for the 6 seed in the Great 8 is on.
