Your forgot their most underrated player Patrick Patterson!
Future definitely looks bright for the rockets.

They got Harden for 5 years + this season is 6 seasons. They still have some time to build a team for him.
They got Lin for 3 years
Asik for 3 years
Patterson for another 3 years before they have to pay him big bucks.
Parsons 3 years for less then a mil per year. But they will probably pay him more next season.
The twin Marcus Morris for 4 years on a cheap salary as well.

All they need is another all star to compliment Harden, maybe a big like Josh Smith or something.

PG Lin
SG Harden
SF Patterson
PF Josh Smith
C Asik

bench : Parsons, Delfino, Douglas, Morris and a few rookies here and there.

Patterson was starting at PF with Parsons but is now been relegated in favour of Morris. There a really good read on how effective the Lin, Harden, Parson, Morris, Asik lineup as been here

http://www.grantland.com/story/_/id/8823509/the-houston-r...

Here's the main bit on your boy Patterson

Morris is taking Patrick Patterson's presumed spot, and this starting group has functioned much better with him there. They're outscoring opponents by nearly five points per 100 possessions, while the Patterson lineup is struggling on both ends with a scoring differential of -5.6 per 100 possessions.

Lakers have been playing a bit better recently though and with Steve Nash finally back from injury they should be a tough team to beat from here on out.

Of course, as soon as I say that, they go and lose 5 in a row... I asked a super-computer yesterday to analyse why the Lakers suck and it exploded due to logic error.

Lakers lose 9 of last 11 games. Can they still make the PO?

The loss to the Bulls makes Kobe explode.

Pau Gasol on the bench replaced by Earl Clarke.
Dwight only getting 8 points and 9 rebounds as an all-star starting center for the West.
Bulls winning without its two leading scorers, Deng and Rose.

Ohh man dont even mention about PHX, they are in such turmoil atm, even the Lakers season seem better.

Gentry fired, one bad management after another, Dan 'Thunder" Majerle walking out on his assistant role, Jermaine O'neal fighting with GM.

Memphis already pulled the trigger on the trades, opting to keep Rudy Gay for the PO run. Many more trades to be had, especially with Minnesota cos they they need to address their injury woes and trying to make the PO to keep Kevin Love happy.

Wizards on their way back...for the time being!

Amazing what happens when your "starters" and key players return from injury

wall is playing real well/

gotta love how the lakers fired their coach, and what do you know? d'antoni isnt do anything either.

it does my head in how sport teams are quick to blame the coach, has responsibility of the players gone out the door these days??

WASHINGTON WIZARDS!

People are quick to say injuries shouldnt be used as excuses but i'd like to know how every other team in the NBA would go if they had at least the star player, a couple of main contributores plus a few key role players out injured all the way up until this far into the season.

Not very good is my guess.

Still lots of room for improvement but this is a team on the rise who have beat (whilst having half the team injured) good teams such as the heat, okc and denver.

Now let's talk Golden State Warriors. 25-15 and I daresay that Curry is as good a 3pt shooter, if not even better, than Ray Allen. David Lee's also a very good player, he would be starting at center in the ASG if fan votes weren't horribly biased towards the Lakers...

I hope Bogut gets healthy soon and remains healthy for the rest of the season and playoffs instead of getting another injury like he usually does, because it would be great to see an Aussie doing well at a relevant team again. Unless I'm mistaken, Luc Longley is the only aussie in the past to have been a successful player on a successful team... sure, Andrew Gaze has a ring but he only averaged 1 point a game off 32% FG that season.

I think Curry is a better spot up shooter than Ray Allen. However running off screens Ray Allen is tops
