Well brian's got roughly 26 golds now so no point in trying to catch up there. I'd have to play until Season 173, and by then brian's daughter will probably be dominating the NBBA under the name Princess Drive Ballers.

He's only got 4 silvers. I can match that this season if I play it right! Tiebreaker being who has the most NT bronzish semifinal medals. I win BB.

I guess, but the financial changes make that not so appealing any more. it's either save 50% payroll (350-400k?) vs a minimum of a half a PO game income (~300k). So if you're sure to lose the 1st round game, you'd save a little (maybe 100k?) by finishing 5th. but being in the POs give you at least some chance at another 300k in round two, plus the attendance benefits next season for having a good season.

And then sells 2 of his better players? He now has 6 actual guys, and one of them is injured. That's an easy PON, sort of forces everyone to have to PON round 1 now just to match enthusiasm.

Isn't the rationale that he only pays half as much wages? With the players sold it isn't that much money. Obv felt wasn't going to win 1st round of POs.

Well, L&P didn't exactly put in much effort to win that game either....a game he might have needed to make the playoffs.
