I like the idea, although it wouldn't work for me personally.

Wish you good luck and hope you have fun doing it!!!

:)

This sounds like something i was doing last year, that i may start doing again this season. I think this is a good idea to have a bunch of 18 and 19 year olds as trainees. I think i'll try this again myself. Because players 24 and over don't improve much, at least not from my experience. But 18 and 19 years olds as the manual says improves a lot, especially if you have a good trainer. So i hope this works out for you, what you're planning on doing, it sounds great.

ok i didnt log last week since the team roster wasnt completely set
i trained rebounding, two position training
six players got their 48 mins
4 popped

im starting to wonder how blown out of proportion the height effecting training may be?
sure if u want some world class best pg in the game type of player it probably wouldnt happen if he is 6'10"
but on a basis of rounding out a player to be better for your team the training dont seem that bad so far (i know tiny sample size so far)
but most people seem too afraid to train rebounding on a guard thinking its gonna take too long

well 4 of 6 players popped lol 5'10" through 6'4"

just figured id give some small update so far
first game is in 10 hrs 20 mins and i will update the spreadsheet soon following with stats etc and get this ball rolling
thanks for the support and suggestions guys

wow first game in the books and it was an exciting one, the score does not tell the story or do this game justice
i had no business still being in this game late, but untill the last few minutes i was right there with them and they finally pulled away
this was the second best team in the conference i was playing lol ! :)

my second best player got taken out of game after a flagrant foul/injury (good thing is i checked roster and it appears to have just been for the rest of game...wheeeew!) at around the 12 min mark, replaced by a lucky fan im convinced this is the only reason i lost this game, in which i should have been over matched anyways but for some reason i was taking it to these guys even with them at normal and me at TIE

in game rating my PF/C outplayed theirs, although the stats dont really show it, Nazyrov (43pts 5rb 3ast 3stl 1blk) had a huge night
both training players got their 48 even though lavandeira (21pts 17rb 8ast 1stl 1blk) fouled out with under a min left to send them to the line

spreadsheet updated https://spreadsheets.google.com/pub?key=0AgiIAK1Xty1ydEdha..., cant wait for next game, hope its another nail biter, i have a feeling next season this will start turning into a very strong team

PS: Also anyone with a similar caliber team (aka div IV around same salary and skill) if you want to scrim me send me an invite to scrim and u can be a part of the experiment magic against my scrim squad :) first come first served.... thanks

Spreadsheet Updated for week 2
https://spreadsheets.google.com/pub?key=0AgiIAK1Xty1ydEdha...

gameshape came up well
only 2 rebounding pops out of 6 players trained

tweaked rotations to now use my "value to team" formula to set which players are in each group
but now after groups are set, i will sort to use players with least skill in skill being trained for week to be in training slots
hopefully this way some that are lagging behind can catch up, rebounding is going to be very important to this team
after that, i slid the remaining players of the squad into the most suited positions to play for the week as suggested before
training rebounding again, but isnt this a 2 game week because of ASG? if so only team a and team b will play and scrim team will lag behind for the ?two weeks? for ASG

Only team b will play scrimmage instead of league game, and team c will play nothing instead of scrimmage, if you stick to the order. Why don't you train stamina or free thow? the whole team would get 48+ training minutes.
