Thats a nice trainee.. wish I had one of those rookies on my team. If I did I will definitely turn him into a PF. OD is a bit low but one full season on OD later on in his career would make him a great PF. Painful but totally worth it. After that another full season on Passing =P More pain but more rewards hehehe.

Just my cents, I hope you have another 2 trainees to train along side Chris Johnson. Also it is important to try to get Chris Johnson into the U21 team. The extra experience he gets from those games will be invaluable later on when it becomes a factor. So smash those primary skills or do wateva it takes to get him selected.

Good luck with him and will be looking forward to seeing him light it up in the aussie NT team.

Man he is great, but like Koop says, if you want him on the U21 team you need to get those primary skills up. I had a rookie like that (but not as good) a couple of seasons ago, with focussed single position inside training guess where he is now - on the Aus U21 team at age 20, getting great experience. I call him TT :)

Rubbish don't listen to him, you need to hit that ID hard man. That has to be one of the most well rounded big men..

Do like you said, defense then Reb then IS the rest of the season!!

I love a rounded big man, I think I have the most rounded hybrid SF/PF in Australia.

But you really need to focus, right now, on the big man skills. For the rest of this season I suppose some passing training is ok, you may get 1 more pop out of it. Next season you really need to smash those inside skills. But I'd rather not train passing anymore for now.

I can't stress it enough. The opportunity to make the U21 side as a 20 year old has now passed. He may make it as a 21 year old, but he will be unlikely to get a start over other big men cause he may be a bit behind.

It's hard to justify starting someone who is triple sensational with passing over someone who is triple wondrous/marvelous with pitful passing.

Considering he needs work on JS as well, I'd leave passing till later.

You can always consider training secondaries if you believe his salary will get out of control and you can't retain him in your team if you keep pumping those outside skills. I'd say in Australia division III that cap is around 90k for any individual player on a good competitive team (not a one man show).
