I don't agree that 1 three-pointer per game between my two big men is a big number, no matter how big it looks over the course of 1000 games. I am far more interested in curbing the number of turnovers committed by my guards who have 14+ HA and increasing my team FT%.

Once I scored a basket that still makes me laugh.

Turnovers are not only commited when guard is dribling the ball of his leg,you shouldve count as an turnover an intercepted pass and unsuccessful rebound as well

An unsuccessful rebound is not a turnover. The ball simply goes to the other team with no TO counted towards your team otherwise the C/PFs would have an additional 3-4 TOs a game :)

funny i can swear i saw it on some games, also you should look at the ass/turnover ratio as well 2-3 TO per 8-10 Ass is great statistic imo seemingly its high and you wouldve prefer 0-1 TO its nearly impossible the only game i saw like that was the 2004 detroit Pistons playoff games

When you watch your next game just take notice of when a player tries to grab a rebound and it goes out of bounds :).

This discussion is pointless unless you take your opponent into consideration. Playing against tougher defenses will result in more turnovers (or if they play FCP) so everything is relative.

we should discern between individual and team turnovers there, though. High handling and passing might increase a players TOs, but will decrease the overall number of fumbled balls.
